Day 01 Agartala Arrival and visit Ujjayanta Palace

Day 1 Activity : Ujjayanta Palace Or Tripura State MuseumVenuban Buddha ViharAkhaura Integrated Check Post

After arrival at Agartala (Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport) meet & greet. Agartala is the capital of Tripura. It is also the largest city in Tripura. The state of Tripura is in the extreme North East of India bordering Bangladesh on its three sides and the Indian states of Assam and Mizoram on its East. On arrival check in to the hotel.

Depending on your arrival time and available time, we would like to show you parts of Agartala today. Visit Tripura State Museum or Ujjayanta Palace. The place stands on the banks of two Lakes and is surrounded by the Lush greeneries of the Mughal Gardens. The name of the palace was given by Rabindranath Tagore who is highly revered here. Venuban Vihar is a Buddhist Temple decorated with colourful hoarding, it is said that this Buddha idol was made in Myanmar. We will also visit the Akhaura Integrated Check Post on the Indo-Bangladesh border. Come to see the lowering of the flags ceremony at the border between the two countries.

Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02 Full day Excursion to Neermahal and nearby places

Day 2 Activity : Tripura Sundari Or Matabari TempleSepahijhola Wildlife SanctuaryNeermahal

Today we will be visiting the area to the south of Agartala city which has several important tourist attractions. We need to start early as there is a large drive involved.

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive the first drive to Sapahijala Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to more than 150 varieties of birds and a wide variety of other wildlife and plants, explore the Zoo, Orchid Garden, and Rubber Plantation here. The distance from Agartala is about 28 km and it would take close to an hour to reach here. We will continue our journey further south to reach Tepania Eco Park about 25 km (40 mnt away). The park was established in 1995, here we will explore 225 species of orchid.

Our next destination is Tripura Sundari temple which is 10 km away from Tepania. This is the most religiously significant temple in the state for Hindus. The temple is considered to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and is the place where the toe of the right foot of Sati fell.

Our last stop today would be a visit to Neermahal Palace on water. It is about 25 km from Tripura Sundari temple and would take less than an hour to reach. The palace is surrounded by the Rudra Sagar waterbody, you may take a boat ride to reach the island where the palace remains.

Return back to Agartala from Neermahal (50 km 1.5 hour). Evening free, Overnight at the hotel.

Recommended: You may also make some changes to the itinerary and visit Chobimura in the area. Chobimura is a beautiful boat ride through the Gomati river where you can witness beautiful sculptures on the rocks of the surrounding hills. Please note this has to be planned in advance and would entail additional cost. Also, all the above itineraries can not be done with Chobimura in a single day. So consult our travel experts and based on your interest we will make necessary changes in the itinerary.
Day 03 Agartala to Jampui Hills (About 200 KM / 6 Hrs Approx.)

Day 3 Activity : UnakotiJampui Hills

Today we will be driving to Jampui hill via Unokoti.

Start in the morning after breakfast and drive North for about 5 hours to reach Unokoti. Unokoti is a hill with beautiful rock carvings. The place is full of such rock carvings which are more than a thousand years old. Spend a couple of hours here to enjoy the beauty of human creation amidst pristine nature.

We will start from Unokoti towards Jampui hills about 3 hour (80 km) drive away. Jamphai Hills (Alt 3000 feet) is the highest hill range at Tripura. The name Jampui means Eternal Hills Of Spring and we can say not much explored the virgin place.

Day 04 Jampui Hill to Agartala

Morning drive back to Agartala. It is a long drive of about 190 km (6 to 7 hours). After reaching Agartala take a rest at your hotel. Today afternoon is free for leisure. If you are in the mood, you may take local taxis to visit the market for souvenir shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 Departure transfer to Airport

Today is the last day of your tour. Depending on your return / onward journey schedule, we will pick you up from your hotel and drop you at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport. The tour ends at the airport.

- Hotel names are indicative, the actual hotels may be different in case the above hotel is not available on a particular date. Final hotel name will be communicated with the guests before confirmation of booking.

- Additional usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.
- Personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter charges, tips, etc.
- Cost of optional / suggested tours, Guide charge, Sightseeing entrance fee, Room Heater charge in the hotel.
- Inner Line Permits [ILP]
- Cost for any other service not mentioned under the “Inclusions” Head.
- Cost for Airfare, Train fare.
- 5% GST on the total billing.

Cancellation Policy

Within 3 weeks from the date of the journey - Cancellation Charge will be 50 % of the total package cost.
Within 15 days from the date of the journey - Cancellation Charge will be 75 % of the total package cost.
Within 10 Days & Less from the date of the journey - Full Cancellation or No Refund.

Child Policy

Children below the age of 6 years are complimentary, they will not be provided additional beds in the hotel or additional seats in the car
Children between 6 and 10 years will be charged either a Child without bed rate (If they share parents' bed) or a Child with bed rate (If they want a separate bed). They will also be provided with a separate seat in the car
Children above 10 years of age will be considered as adults and the tariff applicable will be in accordance with this.

A hotel might ask for the age proof of the accompanying children. Please carry the age proof of the children, otherwise the hotel may put an additional charge on the child.
A room can be occupied by 2 Adults, One Child Without a bed and One Child or Adult with an extra bed. If the group composition requires a different arrangement in hotel room, you must consult our travel executives before booking.

- Arunachal Pradesh is very remote place, so all hotels in this region are basic to very very basic.
- Road conditions from Bhalukpong to Tawang are very bad
- To visit Arunachal Pradesh & Nagaland, Indian national requires Inner Line Permits. Permits are issued in Guwahati which takes 2-3 working days.
- Documents required: 4 passport size photographs, 1 Photo identity,1 Address proof.
- For Madhuri lake and Bumla pass need a additional vehicle.
