Depending on the time available, we'll proceed with some afternoon sightseeing to explore the cultural treasures of Paro. Our itinerary includes:

1. Kyichu Lakhang: We'll visit Kyichu Lakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. According to legend, the temple was miraculously built overnight by the Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo to pin down a giant ogress, allowing Buddhism to flourish in the region.

2. Rinpung Dzong: Our next stop is Rinpung Dzong, a majestic fortress monastery that serves as a symbol of Bhutanese architecture and heritage. This historic dzong, perched on a hillside overlooking the Paro Valley, houses both administrative offices and sacred shrines.

Perched precariously on a sheer cliff face, 900 meters (3000 feet) above the floor of the Paro Valley, Tiger's Nest, or Taktsang Monastery, is a breathtaking sight to behold.

As we hike through the lush forested trails, we'll marvel at the awe-inspiring scenery and soak in the spiritual ambience of this sacred site. The trek to Tiger's Nest offers not only physical exertion but also moments of quiet reflection and contemplation.

Upon reaching Tiger's Nest, we'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, as well as the opportunity to explore the ancient monastery complex.
